Description

A detailed model of the A320 Swissair, complete with texture sets, all components, engine, and landing gears, are parented and pivoted for animation.

Textures

All major surface textures are 2048 in greatest dimension. Color, maps provided. Dashboard controls have their own textures. Photoshop templates for each detail are available for download.

History

During 1989, Swissair was evaluating narrow body fleet upgrades for more fuel efficient aircraft.at the time was operating a combination of Fokker F-100s and DC-9 series of aircraft. In 1990, this would be the first narrowbodyto join the Swissair fleet, and would be the second type ofaircraft to be operated (A310 being the other ). During that time frame, Swissair was operating aircraft from all three manufacturers. 2001 has Swissair operating anonly fleet featuring 41 narrow body aircraft (in addition to A330s and soon to join A340s). This includes 20A320s in service, 9 A319s, and 12 A321s. Today Dragon Models is proud to release the Swissair A320 in the newest color scheme flown by Swissair.
