Marc Newson's Embryo chair is a new design classic, at home in cutting-edge contemporary interiors.
This detailed, but not poly-heavy model is highly faithful to the original design. The seat, metal rings and legs are separated for easier editing. The seat has been carefully UV-mapped to allow use with a variety of materials. Includes texture maps for three different flavours: leather, red fabric and grey fabric, with the respective bump and specular maps.
At 7,000 polys, the model is suitable to be used in crowded scenes, but it is also Sub-D friendly and can be subdivided for close-ups. Folds in the fabric were modeled by hand for extra realism.
The model comes in .obj, .3ds and .blender formats.
