The VH-71 Kestrel, is a variant of the AgustaWestland AW101 (formerly EH101), which is being developed to replace the United States Marine Corps' Marine One Presidential transport fleet.
It is being produced by a Lockheed Martin-led 'US101 Team' of Lockheed Martin Systems Integration - Owego, AgustaWestland and Bell Helicopter.
Due to enter service in 2009. The Vh-71 program has caused controversy over rising development costs and is being reviewed.
The model is a highly detailed exterior model with hi-res maps. All parts are properly organized and major assemblies are linked by dummies.
The rotors are instanced with a bend modifier allowing easy animation of the rotors from their rest position to flight.
