History

The previous generation of BMW's flagship luxury sedan first appeared in 1995, and is actually the third incarnation of a model first introduced to America in 1986. While that early 7-Series initially offered only an in-line 6-cylinder engine, the current 7-Series is available with a powerful V12. In addition to the added power, this 7-Series is the most high-tech vehicle ever to be offered by BMW.
